TOPstitch exhibited at the Wymondham Arts Centre
“TOPstitch – Elevating the Stitch”
“TOPstitch”, new to the Wymondham Arts Centre, is a 15 strong group of contemporary and traditional textile artists and stitchers who meet to encourage and inspire each other, experiment and develop creatively. TOPstitch’s art and work is based on a strong ethos of design and originality. Their exhibition showcases the diversity and talents of the group members raising the profile of embroidery and textile work as an acknowledged and respected art form through greater public awareness.

TOPstitch will be exhibiting at the Peterborough Makit Fair on May 18th.

In the summer of 2014
TOPstitch held their first public exhibition of work at The Old Vicarage, East Ruston which proved to be a very successful and enjoyable first outing. The theme of the exhibition was based on the gardens which gave enormous opportunities for the use of a wide variety of embroidery techniques

May 2015
Following on from this we were invited in May 2015 to take part in The Holt Society celebrations of 50 years since their formation and our members spent time in the town finding more unusual aspects to depict in stitch.
