Judith Symonds

I was taught embroidery by my mother.  In later life I learned Bobbin Lace and gained City and Guilds in Lace Making, I then went on to teach this for 20 years.  Since giving up teaching I’ve gone back to embroidery and textiles and gained City & Guilds in Hand Embroidery and an advanced award in creative skills.

I am a member of the 76 Textile Group, part of the Embroiderers’ Guild, and TOPstitch.

My work has been shown in several exhibitions with TOPstitch, the Embroiderers’ Guild and independently.
